If you believe, as we do, in the need to invest in the future and in the Australian Democrats - to build a sustainable and a just nation - our National Conference is for you. In 2012 it will be held in Melbourne and celebrate our 35th year as a political party.

Join us and learn how we can be a powerful voice for rights and freedoms, equality and fairness; to tackle climate change, water shortages and environmental degradation; to fix our inequitable health and education systems; and to invest in long-term economic sustainability through innovation, infrastructure, skills and education.

Conference Fees

Registration includes morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea on Saturday and Sunday; delegate satchel; and access to all conference presentations. All prices are in Australian Dollars and include GST.

Friday 27th – Opening reception and registration.
Members' social function and fundraiser. Includes nibbles and drinks from 5.30 to 7.30 pm.

Saturday and Sunday 28th and 29th – Conference sessions from 9.00am to 4.00pm
A great line-up of guest speakers and opportunities for member involvement. Join us and debate some contentious issues, see how we are going to get back into parliament, discuss policy, involve members and the wider community.

Saturday night - Conference Dinner at the Jasper Hotel.
Jasper Kitchen offers delicious, modern Australian cuisine. Join past parliamentarians and the National Executive to celebrate our 35th year as a political party.


Accomodation - Special Conference Rate

It is the responsibility of delegates to arrange your own accommodation. The Jasper Hotel offers a special conference accommodation rate of $155.00 per room, per night for both single and twin share rooms. Phone Jasper Hotel reservations on 03 8327 2777 and quote rate code "CONR2"
