The 2007 election delivered a blow to the Australian Democrats but it does not have to be a fatal blow. In fact it has been a trigger for a tidal wave of brilliant ideas for rejuvenation. We have no intention of going quietly. We have no intention of going at all. We will take our place in the Senate until July next year and we will be there for the next election.
