The following draft policies have been releasesd by the Australian Democrats for public comment.

Please note comment on these policies will close February 28. If required, changes will be made to the draft language before the policy is submitted for either further comment or membership ballot in March. If you are not a member and want to be involved in policy development or vote on the final policy, please join today.

All formal policies of the Australian Democrats are formulated in accordance with the principle of participatory democracy. They are finally determined by secret ballot of all members. This is not available to members of any other major political party in Australia.
