Climate reality check 2020

This great little flip book by Australian think tank, Break/Through is designed to help climate practitioners, advocates, journalists, business leaders, and policymakers better understand the alarming mismatch between the current climate risks and considerably inadequate level of climate action.

It’s full of very useful and accessible information and says:

Time has run out for half measures and it is now imperative that work begins to restore safe climate conditions as fast as humanly possible – this will require action at emergency scale and speed.

Contributors to its publications are a who’s who of climate scientists and policy analysts, including Prof Hans Joachim Schellnhuber, Director Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research, David Spratt, Research Director for the Centre, former international oil, gas and coal industry executive, Ian Dunlop, Chair of the group, Sherri Goodman, International Security at the Center for Climate and Security, Paul Gilding, Fellow at University of Cambridge’s Institute for Sustainability Leadership, Philip Sutton, climate strategy analyst.
