Scott is married to Ada, is a father of 4 and grandfather of 10. He owns a small recruitment firm and is a registered psychologist. Originally from Melbourne, Scott is Queenslander by choice and has lived and worked for 25 years in Brisbane, 10 years in Mount Isa and 10 years in PNG. He understands the systemic and geographical inequality faced by regional and rural Queenslanders. He also has a keen appreciation of the difficulties faced by small business owners and is keen to ensure SME issues are understood in Canberra.
