How does membership work?

It's really simple.

As a free supporter member you don't need to worry about renewing your membership every year. You're part of the team until you notify us otherwise.

As a paid member your membership will renew automatically every year if you selected that option as part of your membership application.  If not, you'll receive an email with instructions on renewing your membership in the lead up to your membership anniversary.

If you choose not to renew your paid membership, your membership will automatically switch to a free supporter membership when it expires.  Your free supporter membership will ensure you remain part of the team until you notify us otherwise.

If you miss the common-sense, principled and compassionate voice the Democrats brought to Australian politics for more than 30 years, here’s your chance to bring it back.

Members are core to everything we do, and we need more to reach state registration goals. Every friend or family member you recruit helps us!

We don't have the corporate donors or backing of the major parties, but are backed by people like you. Every dollar helps raise awareness and fuels our campaigns.
