Captain Jason Lambright (Ret) is a multi tour veteran of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, where he served in the US Army. His highest decorations are the Bronze Star, the Meritorious Service Medal, the Army Commendation Medal with Valor device, and he is authorised to wear the Combat Action badge.
Since his retirement he has established a second career as an author of science fiction and alternate history novels. He is descended from, and identifies as American Indian, and is a member of the Mendota Dakota Sioux tribe.
