It is appalling to see support for the Voice in doubt because of the absurd and untruthful claims being made by the Opposition. The Prime Minister has been ineffective in explaining why and how the Voice can make a difference.
Peter Dutton has done his best to frighten people with lies and catchcries like ‘dividing the nation by race’, a blank cheque, a power grab and predictions of vote rigging. No doubt he imagines this politicisation will give his party an edge. We hope he’s wrong.
